Fetal Hemoglobin in Normal Korean Children and Adults

Abstract
|
|
|
The concentration of fetal hemoglobin was measured on 127 normal Korean children and adults.
The means of lib F concentration at different ages were as follows:
At birth(cord blood) 69.0%
0^28 days 60.8%
1^- 3 m. 33.9%
4 6 m. 5.3%
7^-12 m. 4.2%
1 2 Y. 2.0%
2^- 3 Y. 1.1%
3 4 Y. 0.9%
5.10 Y. 0.9%
Adults 1.0%
The result was compared with other reported data
by various authors.
